Room and setup

We booked a two-story suite with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the sea. The room had a classic feel — the hotel seems to have previously been a villa, and the layout reflects that with high ceilings and generous space.

The suite worked well for a family, with the split levels giving adults and kids some separation. The decor is traditional rather than modern, but everything was clean and comfortable.

The suite — classic villa character with sea views. There was plenty of space for our family.

Location and access

The hotel sits right on the beach with direct access to the water. You can walk from your room to the sand in minutes, which is hard to beat with kids.

The town center is a short walk away for restaurants and shops, and the train station is about a five-minute drive — easy for day trips along the Ligurian coast.

The beach — steps from the hotel with a great private setting. We were there in the beginning of June and only a handful of people were at the pebble beach.

Best part of the stay

The serenity of the hotel, the direct beach access, and the short walk to restaurants and shops made this an easy, relaxed base. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel has a nice pool and on-site restaurant.

One minor nitpick: the staff controlled the AC temperature centrally, which was annoying when we wanted to sleep with it running cooler. Worth asking about when you check in.
