Andaz Abu Dhabi Hotel Review
A review of Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi, including the striking architecture, spacious rooms, excellent breakfast, rooftop pool, and why the low points price made it an especially strong value despite the weaker location.

Design and rooms
This is a very nice hotel with beautiful architecture and a sleek overall design. The rooms are spacious, feel modern, and have the kind of polished look you want from a high-end Hyatt without feeling overdone.
Location and service
The biggest drawback is the location. It was not especially convenient for getting around and we needed an Uber any time we wanted to go anywhere. Staff were a bit hit or miss as well, which stood out more because the rest of the hotel feels so polished.
If we stayed here again, we would likely rent a car instead of relying on ride shares the whole time.
What made it worth it
The biggest surprise was how cheap it was on a points booking. It felt like a great value for a high-end Hyatt hotel, especially with the great breakfast and the nice rooftop pool adding to the stay.
We would stay here again because the hotel itself is strong, but it is the kind of property that works best if you go in knowing you are trading location convenience for price and design.
